Our family has fallen on hard times and is in dire need of your HELP. We are survivors of Hurricane Katrina. We relocated to Georgia after the storm. My husband returned in September to New Orleans to work for FEMA, delivering and installing FEMA trailers doing very well until in February of 2006, my husband had an auto accident in Georgia while checking on us, he was struck head on. As a result of the accident, he has three herniated disc in his lower back. We applied for Disability and have been turned down, we have appealed and are waiting for a hearing it has been a 3 year plus process so far and it doesn't mean he will receive it. With him now unable to work and me trying to start over building a clientele as a hair stylist in a new place was very difficult, we have since then returned to New Orleans but with the lost of an income, the recent rise in gas prices and now the recession, these unfortunate events has caused us to get behind and therefore unable to pay our debts. If that’s not enough, because of the job loss of my two adult sons, one with a family, we have been forced to house them while they seek full time employment which has further caused a great burden. We have been trying everything we can to get us out of this jam we are in. I believe that the Lord sent me to this website to receive a blessing. If you are able to a blessing we would be forever grateful and we will pay it forward.
