I Robbed Peter To Pay Paul Now Peter Wants His Money (metaphorically not literally).
I robbed Peter to pay Paul now Peter wants his money. Have you heard the expession before? I use it when I have to use money set aside for one bill (Peter) and use it to pay another bill (Paul) -- Rob Peter to pay Paul. Well, now Peter (the bill the money was for to begin with) wants his money.
I thought I was making a good decision but now I think it was a bad mistake. My husband & I have different financial responsibilities. Mine is the house payment, utilities, & the cable bundle.His is 2 vehicles, the upkeep and insurance on them.
5 1/2 months ago , my husband starting have medical problems. He spent 6 days in the hospital & out of work for 1 1/2 months. During that time (2 months), I let one of my finanicial responibilities go and paid his. We needed a vehicle for his medical appointments & transportation for me to work ( 1 vehicle was in the shop). Then Christmas came. Now I am $2,000.00 (three months) behind on my house payment. I need at least $900.00 by Saturday January 16, 2010. The rest the end of the month . My husband said he would take care of his medical expenses if I catch the house payments up. If they foreclose, he said he'll leave me. He does not believe one can just ask for help and get it. Please help me show him there are people who do give to those in need.
