I have been working since I was ten years old and I have always been obscenely successful in everything I do. From mowing lawns to my college education in history I have excelled. However, as if by some cruel twist of fate, I have consistently suffered injustices in my personal life; hurdles that I have relentlessly been forced to overcome.
My grandfather who raised me and owned his own business died when I was 10. My mother died when I was 17 of alcohol abuse. I met the girl of my dreams in college and married her; moved to her family farm and instantly turned it from an overgrown 200 acres to a 200 acre nature trail and horse stable business. She then left me for a co-worker twice her age with no warning. Recently my step-father committed suicide and I have been taking care of my brother and sister. Between my career and an Industrial Firefighter and taking care of my brother and sister I have not had the time nor been able to save the money to start my own business.
I have the business idea, I have made the contacts with the industry I intend to enter and I have the skills needed to succeed. What I need is the money to give my business a strong start. I have begun doing small things at home, with the help of my brother, to begin to establish the business.
In this time of economic downturn, people like me are needed to seed a grassroots foundation to a new and better economy. Strong small business, run by intelligent, hardworking individuals with a rock-solid upbringing of yesterdays principles and a sharp eye on the future, are needed to provide a strong backbone to a new and better economy.
Please, any and all moneys that can be given with be used and managed by me to help me break free and reach my full potential. I have always felt a call to a greater purpose than myself, but it will take money for me to explore and discover that purpose.
