DESPERATELY TRYING TO KEEP OUR HOME.
It all started back in 2000, when I was injured on the job. I ended up having to have a total of 5 reconstructive knee surgeries and in the near future I will have to have a complete knee replacement. After all the surgeries and therapy, everything was going good for about a year and a half. This is when I was injured again. This time it was my neck and shoulder. I had to have a C4-C5 neck fusion and rotator cuff surgery. When things seemed like they were starting to be back to normal, my wife was laid-off from her job; due to her company downsizing. She is actively trying to find a job, but no luck yet. During all of this time we used all of our savings. We are now two months behind on our mortgage and all of our other bills as well. Our mortgage company wants to move forward with foreclosure. We are trying our best to avoid this from happening; however, we have no money to keep it from happening. It breaks our heart to think that we are going to have to explain to our 2 year old son why we don’t have a home anymore. $95,000 will get us back on track, but anything will help!
